Romania, still open to share expertise 11 years after successful Black Sea delimitation
Romania has proven that it has the maturity and expertise required in international maritime delimitation law, which it is still open to share with other states, Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu said on the 11th anniversary of successful completion of the Black Sea delimitation before the International Court of Justice in The Hague (ICJ).
UN court orders Myanmar to prevent Rohingya genocide
In a sweeping legal victory for members of the Rohingya Muslim minority, the United Nations' top court on Jan. 23 ordered Myanmar to take all measures in its power to prevent genocide against the Rohingya people.
The court's president, Judge Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf, said the International Court of Justice "is of the opinion that the Rohingya in Myanmar remain extremely vulnerable.''
