BELGRADE - The foreign currency reserves of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) totalled around EUR 10.3 billion at the end of February, which is by around EUR 300 million more than in late January, and this ensures M1 coverage of 311 percent and around seven months' worth of import of goods and services, NBS released on Wednesday.

Foreign currency reserves increase by EUR 300mn

BELGRADE -- The foreign currency reserves of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) totalled around EUR 10.3 billion at the end of February.

This is some EUR 300 million more than in late January, and ensures M1 coverage of 311 percent and around seven months' worth of import of goods and services, the NBS said on Wednesday.

Bulgaria's gross external debt amounted to EUR 39,558.2 million (94.3% of GDP) in end-December 2014, up by EUR 2,634 million (7.1%) from end-2013 (EUR 36,924.2 million, 90% of GDP), according to data of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB).

BELGRADE - The foreign exchange reserves of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), which amounted to EUR 10.27 billion in November, dropped by EUR 363 million to around EUR 9.907 billion at the end of December 2014, the central bank announced on Monday, quoting preliminary figures.

BELGRADE - The foreign exchange (FX) reserves of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) amounted to EUR 10,949.2 million at the end of August, covering M1 by 304 percent and more than seven months of imports of goods and services.

The largest inflow to FX reserves, EUR 748.3 million, came from the disbursement of a loan from the United Arab Emirates, the NBS said in a release on Friday.
