US ice dancers win Olympic bronze medal before retiring
After skating to a bronze medal at the Beijing Games, American ice dancers Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue bent down and kissed the the ice where the Olympic rings were painted.
"It was just a moment, I think, for both of us to say goodbye to Olympic ice," Hubbell said, "and thank this journey that's created, you know, the people that we are today."
Papadakis, Cizeron clinch world ice dance gold
France's Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron took gold at the World Figure Skating Championships ice dance event in Shanghai Friday, the high point of a remarkable breakthrough season for the duo.
The pair scored 112.34 points in the final free dance to finish with 184.28 overall, marking another milestone following their European Championships victory in January.
