Interpol has removed Turkey from its database after Ankara uploaded a list of 60,000 people sought over suspected links to what Turkish prosecutors call the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), daily Karar has reported.

The decision to suspend Turkey’s access to the database of sought individuals came after the July 2016 coup attempt.

Interpol brings back Gülen suspect to Turkey from Thailand

A man who had been issued arrest warrant for being a member of the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ) was brought to Turkey from Thailand by Interpol officials on May 26. Security officials found that the suspect identified as Muhammet Furkan Sökmen was in Myanmar and demanded his deportation to the country.
