Interpol has issued a ‘red notice’ for the arrest of former Croatian Defence Council fighter Jozo Djojic, who was found guilty of committing a war crime in Odzak in 1992 but failed to turn up to serve his sentence.

Fresh after Serbia claimed victory in its campaign to stop Kosovo joining Interpol, the US, Britain and other countries celebrated victory in their own campaign to block Serbia's chief ally, Russia, from assuming the presidency of the global police body.
