Bulgaria's Two Biggest Facility Maintenance Companies Merge
Viki Komfort and Facility Optimum Bulgaria, the country's biggest cleaning services companies, have merged, transferring their ownership to two investment funds, specialized website Money.bg has reported.
Empower Capital and KJK Capital are in charge of their assets starting Monday. The two funds will invest EUR 5 M in the development of the new company.

The assets managed by resident and non-resident investment funds operating in Bulgaria totalled BGN 2.22 B as of end-December 2015, increasing by 13.2% year-on-year, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) announced on Friday.

Bulgaria Warns of 18 Unlicensed Investment Intermediaries
Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) has warned the potential investors about 18 firms that are not entitled to operate as investment intermediaries in the country.
"The list of the firms, which haven't been licensed by the FSC, will help prevent fraud when investment is made in financial instruments," the financial watchdog said in a statement on Wednesday.
World Bank lowers 2016 global economic growth forecast
The World Bank slashed its growth forecast for the global economy in 2016 on Jan. 6, citing "disappointing" growth in major emerging-market economies like China and Brazil.
