US set to assist investigators in Sinan Ateş murder
The United States is preparing to assist Turkish investigators in the case of Sinan Ateş, the former head of the ultra-nationalist Grey Wolves group, daily Hürriyet reported on Dec. 11.
An Ankara court has formally requested judicial assistance from the U.S. to compel Apple to provide the passwords of two defendants, Serdar Öktem and Mustafa Ensar Aykal, the newspaper said.

Murder investigation focuses on Mykonos
Police are focusing their investigation into the murder of 54-year-old civil engineer Panagiotis Stathis, who was gunned down on Tuesday morning outside the offices of his company in Psychiko in northern Athens, on the island of Mykonos, where he had been professionally active since the late 90s.

Search underway for missing French tourists on Sikinos island
Authorities are searching for two French tourists reported missing on the island of Sikinos on Friday.
The women, aged 73 and 64, were staying at different hotels, but it is believed they are connected.
Sikinos, a relatively secluded island in the Cyclades situated between Ios and Folegandros, has a population of 386.
