Two prisoners from Iraq have been executed by Jordan in response to the killing of a Jordanian pilot captured by the Islamic state.
According to reports based on a video released by the extremists, the pilot, Moaz al-Kasasbeh, was put in a cage and burned alive.
ISIL claims to have burned Jordanian pilot alive
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) released a video on Feb. 3 purportedly showing the burning alive of a Jordanian pilot it had captured in December.
The video released online showed images of a man purported to be Maaz al-Kassasbeh engulfed in flames inside a metal cage.
