Marianne Moore Tribute | Athens | March 14
Missouri-born poet Marianne Moore (1887-1972), known for her irony and wit, is the subject of a tribute at the Hellenic American Union on Tuesday, March 14. For the event, 12 female poets will read selections of Moore's work in their original form but also in translations done especially for this tribute. Starts at 7.30 p.m. and admission is free.

Police found pieces of clothes of woman gone missing in storm
The 53-year- old woman from Mihaniona, Thessaloniki, who disappeared on Tuesday night during the extreme rainfalls is still missing, after police found her deserted car in the centre of the region early Thursday morning.
Police, the Coast Guard, the Fire Department and the Hellenic Rescue Team are still searching for her whereabouts, but have so far failed to find her.
No signs of a missing woman in Thessaloniki
In a very bad psychological condition are the parents of the 53 year old woman who is reported missing in the region Mihaniona in Thessaloniki.
“Help, I have escaped from the window” were the last words that the missing woman told her husband on the phone. After that, there are no signs of her.
