France's foreign minister on Wednesday demanded that all Iranian-backed militia, including Lebanon's Hezbollah, leave Syria and said that Turkey and Iran were violating international law through their actions in the country, according to Reuters.
Greek court hearing Turkish extradition case
A Greek court is hearing a Turkish extradition request for the second of nine suspected Turkish left-wing militants arrested in November, days before an Athens visit by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Naci Ozpolat, a 48-year-old Turkish citizen of Kurdish origin, appeared in court Tuesday. He is wanted by Turkey on charges of assisting a terrorist organization.

Turkish Airplanes Killed 49 Kurdish Fighters
Turkish military aircraft hit 19 targets at Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Seberan Iraq on Monday, Reuters reported, citing the Turkish Air Force. PKK hideouts, warehouses, and positions of fire are being destroyed, believed to be preparing an attack on the Turkish border.
Turkey launched a massive operation against the Kurds ten days ago. It is called "Olive Branch".
