Turkish court issues arrest warrant for al-Shabaab leaders
An Ankara court has ruled to issue an arrest warrant for five Ethiopian al-Shabaab leaders as part of an investigation into a suicide attack on the Turkish Embassy that killed an embassy personnel in Mogadishu in July last year.
Muslim group prays in front of Hagia Sophia
A large group of people, who demand Istanbulâs monumental Hagia Sophia to be turned into a mosque again, gathered in front of the museum in the early hours of May 31, before offering their morning prayer there.

Turkish Airlines official killed in attack on company car in Somalia
Turkish Airlinesâ security chief was killed when a company car was attacked in Mogadishu, Turkish Ambassador Kani Torun said May 27.
Saadettin DoÄan reportedly died after being hit in the head in the attack.
Turkeyâs Mogadishu Embassy has contacted Somali officials to urge that they conduct an investigation to identify and capture the assailants.

An Egyptian court has sentenced to death 529 supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi.
The news was first communicated by defendants' lawyers, France 24 has reported. Lawyers earlier complained they were given no chance to present their case.
The ruling can be appealed.
