British police shot dead a man who stabbed two people on a busy street in south London on Feb. 3 in what officials described as a terrorist incident believed to be related to Islamist militancy.

Police said in a statement that a hoax device was found strapped to the body of the man killed by armed officers.

Belgian authorities have charged a Belgian man with providing arms to the attackers who carried out the attacks in Paris in November 2015, reported Reuters. 

"The person was taken in for questioning before Christmas. The matter concerns the provision of arms," a spokesman for Belgian federal prosecutors said on Wednesday.

A five-year-old Belgian-Moroccan girl, who had been abducted by his father and taken to Syria in 2017, has finally returned home 1.5 years later, Turkish local media has reported.

AFP - Dutch police arrested seven men Thursday suspected of plotting to carry out a "major terrorist attack" at a public event using explosive belts and an AK-47 assault rifle, the public prosecutor's office said.

Dutch authorities detained two suspected jihadist fighters on July 3 after they returned from Turkey where they had been sentenced for terror-related activities, prosecutors said.

BRUSSELS (AP) — Belgian authorities say they have detained 13 people for questioning from raids linked to an investigation into match-fixing in professional tennis.

The federal prosecutor's office says in a statement on Tuesday there were 21 searches, most of them in the capital Brussels.

Police in France have foiled a suspected terror attack and arrested two brothers of Egyptian origin, French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said on May 18.

Police have shot dead a gunman who killed two people and injured three others in a hostage-taking at a supermarket in the town of Trèbes, near Carcassonne in southern France, reported the Guardian. 

Police union official Yves Lefebvre confirmed the suspect was shot dead by police.

The trial of Salah Abdeslam resumed in Belgium yesterday, but the last surviving Paris attacks suspect was absent after he refused to return to court.

Federal Prosecutor Kathleen Grosjean indicated on Monday that she would ask for a maximum 20-year imprisonment sentence against Salah Abdeslam and Sofien Ayari, Brussels Timesreported.
