Chemicals shipments top $7 billion
Türkiye's chemicals industry generated a total of $7.4 billion in export revenues in the first three months of 2023.
This corresponded to 12.1 percent of the country's total export revenues in January-March, which stood at $61.6 billion.

Steel exports from Mediterranean region doubles in March
Steel exports from Turkey's southern Mediterranean Sea region rose 106% in March on an annual basis, reaching $197 million, according to the head of the Mediterranean Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association (ADMIB).
Fuat Tosyalı said in a statement that iron exports from the region also increased by 57% in March, with the value of exports at $80 million.
Turkish natural stone sector focuses on South America
The Turkish natural stones sector, which makes $2 billion export annually, is finding new markets in South American countries such as Brazil, Argentina and Chile, the head of Istanbul Mineral Exporters' Association (IMIB) said.
