Angelina Jolie stars as opera legend Maria Callas in Pablo Larrain's latest film, "Maria," completing his unofficial biographical trilogy following "Jackie" and "Spencer." Set in 1977, the film portrays Callas living in isolation in Paris, grappling with deteriorating health and emotional turmoil.

The film focuses on the legendary Greek diva during her final days in Paris after a dazzling yet tumultuous life. Maria revisits Callas’ life, offering a glimpse into her identity and revealing unknown aspects of her personality.

When Hatice Erdoğan Yılmaz heard about the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy in 1963, she penned a letter to his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy. Jackie Kennedy then replied in a letter, with a photo of her family sealed in an envelope, to Turkey.

A new film about Jacqueline Kennedy, one of the most photographed yet private women of the 20th century, attempts to get behind her mystique by blending factual events with imagination in the week after the 1963 assassination of her husband, President John. F. Kennedy. 

Natalie Portman will play the part of Jackie Kennedy in a biopic which will concentrate on the life of the famous former US First Lady, and the four days following her husband’s assassination.

“Jackie” will take start at the moment of John F’s assassination in Dallas, Texas, 22nd of November 1963.

Shooting is expected to begin by the end of 2015.
