Istanbul Jet claims 118th place on top 500 firms list

Turkish fuel services firm Istanbul Jet claimed 118th spot in the Capital500 list of Capital Magazine's "Türkiye's Top 500 Private Companies" research.
According to a statement from Istanbul Jet, the company provides services to airline companies with the standards it offers in aviation and fuel services.
SunExpress targets to carry 15 million passengers this year
SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, aims to carry 15 million passengers this year, says the company's CEO, noting that the carrier served 12.6 million passengers last year.
The company's revenues amounted to 1.8 billion euros in 2023.
Turkish Airlines carried some 72 million passengers last year
Turkish Airlines carried a total of 71.8 million passengers in 2022, with the international passenger tally rising nearly 6 percent.
Last year, the carrier served 46.3 million international passengers, and the load factor on the international routes was 80.2 percent, Turkish Airlines said in a filing with Borsa Istanbul.
THY carries nearly 47 million passengers
Turkish Airlines carried 46.6 million passengers between January and August, while the passenger load factor was 78.9 percent, the company has said in a filing with Borsa Istanbul.
In the first eight months of the year, the flag carrier served 29.65 million international travelers, up 2.6 percent compared to the same period of 2019.

Turkish Airlines carries 31 mln passengers in six months
Turkish Airlines carried 30.9 million passengers in the first half of 2022, the company said in a statement.
In the same period of 2019, before the pandemic hit the global travel and tourism industries, the flag carrier served more than 35 million travelers.
