President-elect Joe Biden on Monday received a Covid-19 vaccine in a live televised appearance, the latest figure to get the shot publicly as a way of boosting confidence in its safety and effectiveness.

Harris and Biden participated together in a pre-election rally at a high school in Wilmington, in his home state of Delaware.
They held a virtual session of the city council at the hotel from which Biden launched his campaign for the 1972 Senate election.

Jill Biden, the former second lady of the United States, on Thursday urged Greece to do more to protect the rights of refugee children during a visit to migrant facilities on the island of Chios.
