Iran and the United States have engaged in a war over the 140-character social media platform of Twitter amid escalating tension between the two countries that began with an Iranian missile test launch over the weekend.

Three important news stories, one after another, were reported by international news agencies on the same day.
The first one was a statement by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who openly accused the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria of massacres in Aleppo. 

The implementation of a landmark nuclear agreement between Iran and world powers is still fragile, the head of the U.N. agency that polices Iran's side of the deal has said, warning that small mistakes could have grave consequences. 

Tehran's recent ballistic missile tests did not violate a U.N. resolution and were not illegal, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said March 15 after being questioned on the issue by Australia.

The United Nations Security Council met on March 14 at the request of the United States to discuss the missile tests that have raised the prospect of new sanctions.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu has welcomed the lifting of sanctions imposed on Iran over its disputed nuclear program, suggesting that the development will also serve as a "significant impetus" for bilateral relations between Ankara and Tehran.

“Greece welcomes the implementation day of the Accord on the Iranian nuclear programme”, said Foreign Ministry in a statement.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon stated today that he welcomed implementation of the Iran nuclear deal as a “significant milestone” hoping that it will boost peace, security and stability in the region.

“This is a significant milestone that reflects the good faith effort by all parties to fulfil their agreed commitments,” Ban Ki-moon said in a statement.

Iran's parliament approved a historic nuclear deal with world powers on Oct. 13, effectively ending debate among lawmakers over the agreement and paving the way for its formal implementation.
