EP rapporteur now "expects opening of chapters"

BRUSSELS -- EP rapporteur David McAllister says he expected a resolution based on his report to be followed by the opening of Serbia's first accession negotiation chapters.

On Wednesday, Minister Joksimovic will have a series of meetings with EP representatives.

Belgrade "respects Ukraine's territorial integrity"

BELGRADE -- Minister without portfolio for EU Integrations Jadranka Joksimovic said on Friday that Serbia "respects the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine."

She made the comment as she met with Ukrainian Charge d'Affaires in Belgrade Yevgeniia Filipenko, "to discuss Serbia's European integrations."

BELGRADE -- "It is possible" that first chapters in Serbia's EU membership negotiations could happen in June, Jadranka Joksimovic has told a daily in an interview.

But, noted the Serbian minister without portfolio in charge of EU integration, even if that does not happen, there will be no "idle time."

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will meet with European Parliament Rapporteur on Serbia David McAllister Thursday.

Vucic will also have a separate meeting with the Franco-German Youth Office Secretaries-General, Beatrice Angrand and Marcus Ingenlath.
