IMF mission starts visit to Serbia

The mission will be in Belgrade until February 5, Tanjug has reported.

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said the Serbian delegation was led by Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic, while ministers of finance and economy took part in the conversation, said Beta.

Last July, the IMF approved a 30-month Policy Coordination Instrument for Serbia.

Official talks launched with IMF

They will discuss the results of the new macroeconomic and structural reforms, supported by the PCI-Policy Coordination Instrument, the Serbian government has announced.

The Serbian delegation is led by NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic, who also represents Serbia at the IMF, and includes representatives of the ministries of finance and economy.

Tabakovic: FDIs to reach around 2 bln euros by end-year

BELGRADE - Foreign direct investments in Serbia will reach around 2 bln euros by end-year, National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic said Tuesday.

On November 17, the NBS will present the final results concerning FDI growth, which has been revised from 1.5 bln to 1.7 bln, she said.
