Vucic welcomes Israel's Herzog in Belgrade
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic welcomed Israeli President Isaac Herzog with the highest state honours outside the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade on Wednesday.
The welcoming ceremony included a guard of honour and the playing of the national anthems of Israel and Serbia.

Partizan lose to Lugano at home in UEFA Europa League qualifier
BELGRADE - Serbian football club Partizan Belgrade suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Swiss side Lugano in the first leg of the two teams' UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie on Thursday evening.
Mattia Zanotti scored the winner for the visitors in the 70th minute.
Serbia outclasses Japan in pre-Olympic basketball friendly
BELGRADE - The Serbia men's national basketball team outclassed Japan 119-100 in a pre-Olympic friendly game at the Belgrade Arena on Sunday evening.
Nikola Jokic led Serbia to victory with 18 points and six assists, Filip Petrusev scored 17 points, captain Bogdan Bogdanovic had 15 points and eight assists and Ognjen Dobric and Vasilije Micic added 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Serbian javelinist Vilagos wins European silver in Rome
ROME - Serbia's Adriana Vilagos won the silver medal in the women's javelin throw event at the European Athletics Championships in Rome on Tuesday evening.
With a 64.42 m throw, Vilagos also broke the Serbian national record of 64.21 m, set by Tatjana Jelaca in Zurich in 2014.
Mali: Serbia has raised 1.5 bln dollars under extremely favourable terms
BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali told Tanjug that, in a first for the country, Serbia had issued ten-year sustainable/green (ESG) bonds on Wednesday, raising 1.5 bln dollars under extremely favourable terms, at an interest rate of 4.7 pct.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday he had had a good and substantial meeting with OSCE Chairman and Maltese FM Ian Borg and added that they had exchanged views on bilateral relations, the regional and geopolitical situation as well as Serbia-OSCE cooperation and progress of reform processes in the country.

Serbia gets new parliament
BELGRADE - Serbia got its new parliament on Tuesday after the mandates of all 250 MPs were approved at a constitutive session.
After their mandates were approved, the MPs took the oath of office and Tuesday's sitting of the session was concluded.
It was presided over by Stojan Radenovic, the oldest MP from the Aleksandar Vucic-led Serbia Must Not Stop electoral list.
