Top court takes issue with EP vote on rule of law
The resolution adopted last week by the European Parliament regarding press freedom and the threat to the rule of law in Greece was slammed on Thursday by the plenary of the Supreme Court as direct interference in the work of the Greek judicial authorities, regarding a series of cases that are pending before the courts, with unproven and unsubstantiated allegations.

Greek FM fumes at ‘slander’ regarding rule of law
The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reacted strongly to press reports suggesting that the country’s rule of law is in danger due to particular court decisions.
It all began in 2010, well before Kotzias became a minister, when the Athens Review of Books magazine published a letter of a reader calling Kotzias “a true gauleiter of Stalinism”.
