Judo: Corina Caprioriu wins second gold medal for Romania in Baku Grand Slam
Romanian judoka Corina Caprioriu, Olympic Vice-Champion in London, on Friday won the gold medal in the 57 kg category of the Grand Slam competition in Baku (Azerbaijan), after defeating British Nekoda Smythe Davis in the final.

Romanian judoka Monica Ungureanu won the gold medal in the women's 48-kg category of the Judo Grand Slam tournament in Baku, Azerbaijan, as she defeated Hungary's Eva Csernoviczki on Friday.

Young tourist couple drowned in the Bosphorus
A young couple from Mongolia who were in Istanbul to spend Valentine's Day has drowned in the Bosphorus.
According to eyewitnesses, the young man fell into the Bosphorus and his girlfriend then jumped into the water to save him. The couple's bodies were later found by officials on Feb. 11

Romanian judokas Andreea Chitu (world No. 3) and Corina Caprioriu (world No. 12) won the gold medal, each in her category, at the Judo Grand Prix in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Romanian judoka Andreea Chitu won the gold medal of the 52 kilograms category by defeating Mongolian Tsolmon Adiyasmbuu (world No. 13).
