The managing council of the Montenegrin public broadcaster, RTCG, decided on Thursday to dismiss director Andrijana Kadija, claiming that she misused her position and acted unprofessionally while running the state-funded media outlet.

A new general director was appointed chief of public broadcaster Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG) on Tuesday. The move follows months of disputes, layoffs, accusations of political influence and alleged rigging of competitions.
