Temporary reception center in north shut down
A temporary refugee center in Kanjiza, near the border with Hungary in northern Serbia, was shut down on Friday, Tanjug reported.
The decision came as refugees from the Middle East no longer use this route on their way to Germany and Scandinavian countries.

A new wave of refugees is expected to reach the refugee reception centre in Presevo in southern Serbia, the Red Cross in Presevo said on Tuesday.
"At the moment, we have about 500 refugees but we have an information that during the day about 2,000 more will arrive," Ahmet Halimi, Secretary of the Red Cross in Presevo, said on Tuesday.

Man murders 6 in northern Serbia before he is killed
A man has killed six members of his family before he was killed himself in a tragedy that unfolded on Sunday in the villages near Kanjiza, northern Serbia.
It was initially reported that R.S. used a hunting rifle to kill his victims, and then commit suicide.
