Karaca Island for sale for $24.3 mln
The owner of Karaca Island, located in the Gökova Gulf, has updated the island's sale price from 145 million Turkish Liras ($9.8 mln) to 360 million liras ($24.3 mln).
Real estate agents in the southwestern province of Muğla's Marmaris district, where the island is located, said the owner is a Turkish businessman living in the U.S.

Owner raises price of island on sale for two years
The owner of Karaca Island, which is located in the Gökova Gulf of the southwestern province of Muğla and was on sale with a discount price for two years, has raised the cost of the property to 225 million Turkish Liras ($25.9 million) after seeing the interest of international buyers.

Turkey jails three for life in wake of FETÖ match-fixing scandal
A Turkish court handed down lengthy sentences in a "football match-fixing case" involving a plot by the FETÖ from 2011.
The 23rd Istanbul Heavy Penal Court issued its final verdict to former chairman of Samanyolu TV (STV) Hidayet Karaca, who received a sentence of 1,406 years for "breaching the privacy of communications," "forgery of official documents" and "slander."
Young man makes miniatures of Ankara’s historical houses
A young man who has been making miniature Ottoman wooden houses has now amassed the country's largest collection of such dwellings.
Berkay Karaca, a native of Ankara's Beypazarı district, which is famous for its old Ottoman wooden houses, has become a master in making the houses.
First, he forms a model of the house with a special drawing.
Remembering Cem Karaca: The father of Anatolian rock
Turkey commemorated Cem Karaca, one of the prominent figures of "Anatolian rock," on Feb. 8, 16 years after his passing.
Suffering a heart failure, Karaca, a beloved and respected figure in Turkey, died on Feb.8, 2004 in metropolis Istanbul, at the age of 58.
During his lifetime, he recorded 24 albums and gave hundreds of concerts, winning the hearts of millions of people.
