One worker dies in mine landslide in Central Anatolia
One miner has died in a landslide that took place at a Central Anatolian mine in the city of Karaman early June 18.
Mustafa Yirik, 41, died in the hospital after he was removed from the mine that is operated by a private firm in the Güneyyurt neighborhood of the Ermenek district.

It has been discovered that the grave of 17th century Ottoman poet KaracaoÄlan might be in the central Anatolian province of Karaman. During restoration works in the garden of a mosque in the cityâs Sarıveliler neighborhood, a grave and tombstone with the inscribed âKaracaoÄlanâın ruhuna Fatihaâ (Fatiha to KaracaoÄlaâs soul) in Ottoman were found.
