The incident took place on the Aitos-Karnobat road.

Car Crashes Slosed Trakia Highway near Karnobat
Trakia Motorway in the direction of Burgas, near Karnobat, is closed due to car accidents, BNR reported. The incidents have led to a major congestion, which hampers traffic. Storm in Karnobat, Southeastern Bulgaria: Streets and Houses in Water!
A strong storm with harsh rain and hail occurred in Karnobat late last night.
The storm lasted about 15 minutes and for that time the streets of the city flooded. The ground floors of the houses are also in the water.

Train Passengers are Blocked near Aitos, Burgas
The Sofia-Burgas train has stopped in the field near Aitos аt 5 am this morning and the passengers have no information about the reason.
This was announced to bTV by Ivailo Simeonov, who is among the passengers.
At the moment the train is stopped, the heating as well. There are about seven wagons in which there are a lot of passengers, including children, Simeonov added.

16 People were Injured when a Bus Turned Upside down on Trakia Highway Last Night
16 were the injured passengers, after last night a bus just after 10 pm crashed to a ditch of Trakia motorway. This is reported by the Bulgarian National Television. 13 of them were taken to the Yambol hospital and three were transported to Karnobat. The bus, which overturned in the ditch, was operating on the daily Sofia-Sunny Beach line that goes through Burgas.
Small Village near Karnobat has been Evacuated Due to Fire
The fire burned three houses in the Karnobat village of Tserkovski. A firefighter was injured during the fight with the flames after a carrier beam fell on his arm. The 150 inhabitants of the village have been evacuated from their homes, and a mother with a little child has been saved at the last minute. Reported Darik.
Good Grain Harvest Expected by Ministry of Agriculture
At the unveiling of the harvesting campaign in the town of Karnobat, Southeastern Bulgaria, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Atanas Dobrev foresaw good grain harvest for this year, BNR writes.
Over 5 million tons of wheat grain are expected to be gathered and those will be enough for providing the country's grain balance.
Closed Trakia Motorway Sections Partly Reopened
Bulgarian authorities have decided to reopen Trakia motorway in the section between Zimnitsa transportation hub and Karnobat, after tough road conditions disrupted traffic for several days.
The stretch between Zimnitsa and Karnobat is now open in both directions.
However, a speed limit has been imposed of 60 km/h.

Emergency State Lifted in Bulgaria's Burgas after Chain Crashes
Authorities have lifted the state of emergency in Burgas Region following a series of crashes that left traffic paralyzed along Trakia motorway and a bypass route leading to Burgas from central Bulgaria.
As many as ten villages in the municipalities of Burgas, Sredets and Aytos are still hard to access by car, public broadcaster BNR reports.
