Greek spy marking Turkish military bases detained
A Greek spy watching and photographing the military bases on the Turkish Cypriot's Karpas Peninsula has been caught as he had forgotten his radio in his hotel room.

Turkish drillship Yavuz withdraws from Karpasia peninsula
The Turkish drillship Yavuz has withdrawn from the coastal waters off Cyprus, just south of the Karpasia (Kaspas) peninsula where it had aimed to prospect for hydrocarbons, it emerged on Tuesday.
The vessel moved to the Turkish port of Tasucu and is now located opposite the Karpasia peninsula for reasons that remained unclear.
Turkish FM heralds creation of 'consulate' in Famagusta
In a post on Twitter, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has heralded the creation of a "consulate" in Famagusta, in the Turkish-occupied north of Cyprus.
Cavusoglu made the comment on Sunday during a visit to the occupied part of the island, saying such a "consulate" would serve all citizens living in the Karpasia peninsula.
Turkey's second drilling ship to operate off Cyprus' Karpas peninsula
Turkey's second drill ship Yavuz will operate in a borehole near Cyprus' Karpas peninsula, to the northeast of the island, for around three months and reach a depth of 3,300 metres (3,609 yards), Energy Minister Fatih Donmez said on Thursday.
