Hellenic Train: delays in the suburban train services between Thessaloniki-Larissa
Delays are expected in all suburban train services between Thessaloniki and Larissa, due to yesterday’s fire in Litochoro and the loss of electricity, Hellenic Train said in a post.
The same post notes that there is a single line between Litochoro and Platy.
Wildfire breaks out in Macedonia
A wildfire broke out near a residential area in Litochoro, Macedonia.
The fire service has dispatched 18 firefighters with seven vehicles, three aircraft, and one helicopter to the scene.
A 112 alert message was sent to residents of Plaka, urging them to evacuate towards Katerini and Leptokarya.

My name is Sulejman, but here I am Thanasis

Van collision with tourist bus leaves one dead in northern Greece
One man died when the van he was driving smashed into the back of a tourist bus temporarily stopped in the emergency lane of Greece's main north-south highway near the town of Katerini, early Thursday morning.
The accident happened at tthe 417th kilometre of the Athens-Thessaloniki highway, in the direction if Athens, five kilometres after the Litohoro junction, police said.
58 passengers stranded after Thessaloniki-Larissa train breaks down
