Jim Henson, the relentless innovator who gave the world Kermit the Frog and "The Muppet Show," is getting a permanent tribute in New York, nearly 30 years after his death.

Screen and TV star, diva and beloved Muppet, Miss Piggy, is being recognized for her contributions to society with a feminist award at the Brooklyn Museum in New York on June 11.
