World Cup: Serbia win thanks to stunning free kick goal
The only goal of the match was scored in the second half by Serbia Captain Aleksandar Kolarov. The Roma defender executed a perfect free kick from 25 meters, past a helpless Costa Rica and Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Later on Sunday in Serbia's Group E, Brazil will face Switzerland. Serbia's next game is against Switzerland on June 22.
Greek politicians praise national team after World Cup exit, promise new training center
Prime Minister Antonis Samaras has congratulated Greeces national soccer team after its second round exit at the World Cup in Brazil and his government has pledged to build a new training center for the team.
All Greeks are proud of our national team, Samaras said in a brief message after Greece lost to Costa Rica on penalties. Congratulations to all the boys.
Greece loses to 10-man Costa Rica in penalties

Greece succumbed in a penalty shootout to 10-man Costa Rica, whose keeper Keylor Navas kept the score at 1-1 throughout extra time and then saved Fanis Gekass spot kick to send the Central Americans to the quarterfinals of the World Cup on Sunday night.
