China's Juneyao Airlines plans to set up branches in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, Malaysia and Greece, the company said in a filing on Wednesday, as it ventures to Europe and Southeast Asia in a global expansion drive.
Due to foreign ownership rules, Juneyao will need to find local partners in each of the countries.

Turkish Cargo, a division of Turkey's national flag-carrier Turkish Airlines, is adding Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur and the western Indian province of Ahmedabad to its flight network.

Malaysia's state electricity utility, Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has bought a 30 percent stake in Turkey's GAMA Enerji A.S. for $243 million to expand overseas, it said on Dec. 14.
