North Iran gets massive snowfall
After months of waiting for the snow to arrive, Tehranis were hit by massive snowfall overnight yesterday that shut airports and schools but delighted the ski community. The capital’s Imam Khomeini International and Mehrabad airports were shut due to poor visibility “until further notice”, state television said.

Flag-burning Iranians mark fall of US embassy
Several thousand Iranians gathered outside the former US embassy in Tehran on Nov. 4 to mark its storming by students 35 years ago, burning the American flag.
In what has become an annual spectacle, demonstrators chanted "Death to America" and "Death to Israel, Death to Britain."
