The Hollywood actress lost her mother on the day she was scheduled to appear at the 81st Venice Film Festival to receive the Best Actress award for her role in the film “Babygirl.”

However, she did not attend the ceremony, and a message from the 57-year-old actress was read on stage.

Oscar-winning Hollywood star Nicole Kidman came to the western province of Muğla's Bodrum on May 13. The actress attended the opening of the world's first hotel of the Paramount Hotels & Resorts Group, The Bodrum, before leaving after around six hours.

The mayor of Gelibolu in northwestern Turkey on March 9 announced plans to invite Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman to the town.
