Explosions rock central Kiev in apparent missile strikes

Multiple explosions rocked Kiev early on Oct. 10 following months of relative calm in the Ukrainian capital.

Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported explosions in the city's Shevchenko district, a large area in the center of Kiev that includes the historic old town as well as several government offices.

All our compatriots who left Kyiv in the late hours are already on the territory of Moldova. They were welcomed by the Bulgarian diplomatic representatives. They have food and water. These are about 200 people - mothers with children, Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska told Nova.
