Serbian police find 738 more irregular migrants
BELGRADE - As part of an ongoing operation aimed at curbing irregular migration, Serbian police found a total 738 irregular migrants in the territory of Subotica, Sombor and Kikinda, northern Serbia, and Pirot, southeastern Serbia, on Thursday, the police said in a statement.

Earthquake hits Kikinda PHOTO
According to the report of the Republican Seismological Institute, at 01:28 local time, an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on the Richter scale was registered in the region of Kikinda, Sputnik reported.
Intensity at the epicenter was rated at 4 to 5 degrees on the Mercali scale.
The VojvodinaMeteo previously reported that an earthquake was recorded at 15 km depth.

Migrants smuggled in van with no windows or seats
Ab investigation has been launched in Zrenjanin against seven persons suspected of illegally smuggling migrants across Serbia's territory.
The higher public prosecutor in this northern town launched the probe against two local residents, whose initials are A.Z. and D.C., as well as B.R. and S.J. from Djala, S.J. and V.K. from Kikinda, and L.K. from Srpski Krstur.

Ministry invites letters of interest for petrochem plants
BELGRADE - The Serbian Ministry of Economy on Thursday issued an invitation for letters of interest for companies in the petrochemical complex - the Kikinda Methanol and Acetic Acid Complex and the Pancevo nitrogen and petrochemical plant.
The invitation was issued pursuant to the Privatisation Act, a conclusion of the government and decisions of the Srbijagas Supervisory Board.
