North Korea said on Aug. 25 leader Kim Jong Un supervised the test-firing of a "newly developed super-large multiple rocket launcher," another demonstration of its expanding weapons arsenal apparently aimed at increasing its leverage ahead of a possible resumption of nuclear talks with the U.S.

North Korea said on Aug. 7 leader Kim Jong Un supervised a live-fire demonstration of newly developed, short-range ballistic missiles intended to send a warning to the United States and South Korea over their joint military exercises.

North Korea said on Aug. 3 its leader Kim Jong Un supervised another test-firing of a new multiple rocket launcher system that could potentially enhance the country's ability to strike targets in South Korea and U.S. military bases there.

North Korea said it would not surrender to US sanctions and blamed Washington for trying to put it on its knees, the Associated Press reported.

Chinese President Xi Jinping started a historic visit in Pyongyang on June 20 to reboot a troubled alliance, as he and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un face their own challenges with U.S. President Donald Trump.    

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will soon visit Russia for a summit with President Vladimir Putin, North Korean state media said on Tuesday, with a Russian newspaper reporting they will meet on Thursday in Vladivostok, reported Reuters. 

North Korea has an enormous economic potential if the leader of the country, Kim Jong-un, agrees Pyongyang to give up its nuclear weapons. A similar publication on Twitter came out yesterday by US President Donald Trump. In it, he adds that Vietnam can be an example the country should follow, CNBC wrote.

The first organized tourist group from Bulgaria will arrive in North Korea in April. The excursion will coincide with the celebrations on the occasion of the 107th birthday of the leader Kim Il-sung  - the grandfather of the current country leader, Kim Jong-un.

A litter of puppies was born earlier this month by a hunting dog given to South Korean President Moon Jae-in by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and the first photos of the dogs were shared by the South's presidential Blue House on Sunday (Nov 25), reported Channel News Asia.
