Turkish prosecutor shot by perpetrators' gun, authorities say
An autopsy report has alleged that Turkish prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz was shot with a gun belonging to militants during a police operation at Ça?layan Courthouse on March 31, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor?s Office said April 2.

The courthouse in Istanbul?s Ça?layan Square is quite an odd architectural masterpiece. It is considered the largest courthouse in Europe. It took years and $250 million to build it, but it only took a couple of hours to destroy its credibility as well as the precious life of a prosecutor.

Istanbul courthouse captors laid to rest
The two far-leftist militants who were killed by security forces after they took prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz hostage on March 31 inside an Istanbul courthouse were laid to rest on April 2.
?afak Yayla, one of the captors of 46-year-old Kiraz, was laid to rest in his hometown of Çanakç?'s Karabörk village, which is located in the northern province of Giresun.
