Predrag Kon: "Medical part of the Crisis Staff is strictly against easing measures"

Epidemiologist Predrag Kon expects a smaller number of new cases in Belgrade next week, but that will not go evenly throughout the country because the virus has spread differently.

The funeral of SPC Patriarch Irinej caused the most controversy, and when asked to comment on the event and whether the measures of the Crisis Staff were respected, Dr Kon said that, based on what he saw on television, it is quite certain that the measures were not fully respected.

In the last 24 hours, 3.540 people have been tested and a total of 45.355 people tested so far.
Five more people have died from the coronavirus, bringing death toll in Serbia to 130.
So far, 977 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 101 patients are on respirators.
New 304 cases of coronavirus in Serbia, total infected 5.994
This increased the total number of patients to 5.994 cases.
3.853 were hospitalized and 126 were on respirators.
In Serbia, in the last 24 hours, seven more have died, totaling 117.
637 people were cured.

He told Television Prva that many more people are being tested in Serbia now than before, with more than 3.000 being tested yesterday.
