Conservative Opposition Wins Poland's Parliamentary Elections - Exit Polls

Poland's largest opposition Law and Justice party (Pis) won the parliamentary elections, which were held in the country on Sunday.

According to exit polls, the conservatives have won 39 % of the votes, which will be enough for the party to govern on its own, the BBC informs.

Rosen Plevneliev To Visit Poland

Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev is on a official visit to Poland on Tuesday and Wednesday, said his press office.

During his visit, Plevneliev will meet with his Polish counterpart Bronislaw Komorowski, Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz, the Speaker of Polish Senate Bogdan Borusewicz.

BELGRADE - Polish film director Aneta Kopacz opened the 61st Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival at Dom Omladine late Wednesday.

Kopacz thanked festival organisers for inviting her and said that she is honoured that her documentary film Joanna will open the official programme of the event with a non-competitive screening.
