POS-cash register connection target achieved well ahead of deadline
Greece has achieved its target to connect companies' card terminals (POS) with cash registers two-and-a-half months before the deadline, said National Economy and Finance Kostis Hatzidakis on Thursday. This is set to secure considerably more revenues for state coffers, he added.

Piraeus Port inaugurates its extended car terminal
The Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) managers on Tuesday inaugurated the extension of its car terminal, by nearly 40,000 square meters to the north side of the port, increasing the port's capacity for car trade.
The new investment by Cosco's subsidiary totaled 20 million euros, adding space for another 5,100 cars. The project was part of OLP's obligations under the port concession.

House of celebrated poet to be restored

Completion of cadastre set back to 2024
The completion of the national cadastre has been officially postponed until 2024. According to the Environment Ministry, the reason for the delay is not only the coronavirus restrictions, but also the low participation of people in some areas in the effort to digitally register their properties.
