Brnabic: Serbia a European leader in AI

Wacker Neuson plant opens in Kragujevac

KRAGUJEVAC - The German company Wacker Neuson opened a factory in Kragujevac, central Serbia, on Thursday.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Serbian PM Ana Brnabic.

She said FDI inflow to Serbia in Q1 2023 stood at 783.9 mln euros and was up by 39 pct compared to the same period of 2022, the year when FDI totalled a record-high 4.4 bln euros.

Vucevic: SNS policy will not change

KRAGUJEVAC - The policy of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) will not change, and it will remain an engine of Serbia's development, new SNS leader Milos Vucevic said after Saturday's extraordinary SNS Assembly session in Kragujevac, at which he was elected party president.

Vucevic succeeded Aleksandar Vucic, who stepped down from the post.

Man arrested after killing eight, wounding 13 people near Mladenovac

BELGRADE - Serbian police have arrested a 21-year-old man who killed eight and wounded 13 people in a shooting spree near Mladenovac last night.

The man, identified as Uros B, was arrested in the vicinity of Kragujevac, a source has confirmed to Tanjug.

Using an automatic weapon, he fired at residents of several villages in the Mladenovac municipality.
