Türkiye and the United States are in fresh talks for resolving the problem of the presence of YPG in northern Syria which threatens the security of both Türkiye and Syria.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said that eradication of the Kurdish YPG militia in Syria was "imminent," and that Ankara would not agree to any policy that allowed the YPG to maintain a presence there.

"We are in a position to not only see but also to break any kind of plot in the region," Fidan said in a joint press conference with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi.

The Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) is intensifying its efforts to prevent PKK and YPG from establishing a foothold in the northern Syrian city of Manbij as opposition forces continue their surprise offensive against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) has emerged as the leading party in the long-awaited Iraqi Kurdish parliamentary election, securing 809,197 votes, according to preliminary results released by Iraq's electoral commission.

The Iraqi Turkmen Front has that its members in Iraq's Kirkuk province will continue to protest by not attending provincial council sessions, as they did during the previous governorate elections.

The elections to be held in northern Syria by the YPG have been postponed once again as a result of Ankara's steadfast reaction, the Turkish security sources have said.

The United States wants the establishment of a "terror state" in northern Syria by politically and militarily supporting the YPG terror organization, Türkiye's top diplomat has said, citing serious problems in the bilateral ties although the relations are more stable compared to the past.

Türkiye has closed its airspace for the aircraft, which land/take-off at Iraq's Sulaymaniyah International Airport, as of April 3 upon the intensification of PKK activities in the region, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Tanju Bilgiç said.

The PKK and its Syrian offshoot, the YPG, who have occupied the oil and natural gas fields in Syria, are trying to generate income by oil drilling and selling it to the black market through the companies they established, local media has reported.

U.S. soldiers have taken part in a joint military exercise with PKK/YPG terrorists in the countryside in Syria's northeast.

Photos from the exercise conducted by the U.S.-led Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve coalition and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) against the ISIL were shared on the coalition's Twitter account, saying, "stronger together."
