Türkiye, US in talks on YPG threat in northern Syria

Türkiye and the United States are in fresh talks for resolving the problem of the presence of YPG in northern Syria which threatens the security of both Türkiye and Syria.
Turkey says eradication of Kurdish YPG militia in Syria ‘imminent’
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said that eradication of the Kurdish YPG militia in Syria was "imminent," and that Ankara would not agree to any policy that allowed the YPG to maintain a presence there.
"We are in a position to not only see but also to break any kind of plot in the region," Fidan said in a joint press conference with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi.
SNA seeks to block PKK/YPG entrenchment in Manbij

Türkiye closes airspace for flights from/to Sulaymaniyah airport over PKK acts
Türkiye has closed its airspace for the aircraft, which land/take-off at Iraq's Sulaymaniyah International Airport, as of April 3 upon the intensification of PKK activities in the region, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Tanju Bilgiç said.

US, PKK hold joint military exercise in Syria
U.S. soldiers have taken part in a joint military exercise with PKK/YPG terrorists in the countryside in Syria's northeast.
Photos from the exercise conducted by the U.S.-led Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve coalition and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) against the ISIL were shared on the coalition's Twitter account, saying, "stronger together."
