Two security personnel killed in clashes with PKK
A Turkish soldier and a village guard were killed and four others wounded in clashes with the PKK in the eastern province of Bitlis, the Governor's Office said early on June 2.

6 PKK terror suspects held in Turkey
Turkish security forces on May 23 arrested six PKK terror suspects in the capital Ankara and northwestern Istanbul province.
Turkish police carried out simultaneous operations at 14 places in Ankara and Istanbul on May 21 to arrest terror suspects. A former official of the People's Democratic Party (HDP) was among the suspects.

Terror attack attempt foiled in southeastern Turkey
Turkey foiled a terror attack that targeted Turkish Air Forces' 8th Air Base in southeastern province Diyarbakır, interior ministry sources said on May 19.
Two model planes used during the attempt were neutralized, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said on Twitter.
No casualties reported, noted.
