Chamber Music Festival | Hania | August 26 – September 4

The 12th Hania Chamber Music Festival will take place at the Minoa Palace Resort and the Ancient Theater of Aptera from August 26 to September 4. Each of the six concerts will juxtapose works from the German Classical and Romantic traditions with works from Russia, Poland, Armenia and the Czech Republic, all of them written in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Vucic: Serbia, North Macedonia to develop closest possible ties

VRANJE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday he was confident Serbia and North Macedonia would develop the closest possible ties and build them carefully and with mutual respect.

Vucic was speaking after a meeting with North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova at the St Prohor Pcinjski monastery near Vranje, southern Serbia.

Djuric: Serbia to remain pillar of peace, stability in region

ROME - Serbian FM Marko Djuric said on Wednesday in Rome Serbia would remain a pillar of peace and stability in the region but that, on the other hand, support from the international community was needed at the highest level when it comes to normalisation of Belgrade-Pristina relations and implementation of agreements reached in the Brussels dialogue.

FM urges Turkic states to adopt common alphabet

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has called for a unified alphabet among Turkic states to strengthen regional cooperation.

"In order to prevent global power rivalry from spilling over into our geography, we must tighten our ranks and use our capabilities for our common prosperity," Fidan said at an Organization of Turkic States (OTS) summit in Azerbaijan's Susha city on July 6.

Vucic: I dream of developed Serbia, Kurti dreams of wars
