EULEX extends Ivanovic's detention until October
The detention of Civic Initiative SDP leader Oliver Ivanovic has been extended until October 6, said his wife Milena Popovic-Ivanovic.
She told Tanjug on Thursday that the decision was made by a panel of EULEX judges from the Municipal Court in Kosovska Mitrovica, and that the request filed by Ivanovic's lawyers to set him free pending the end of the trial was rejected as unfounded.

EU Helicopter Crashes at Pristina Airport
According to a statement released by Pristina Airport, one person was injured when the helicopter crashed during a training exercise at around 3pm.
EULEX said in a written statement that the helicopter is owned and operated by the Starlite Aviation company, which has a contract with the mission to provide transportation services.

PRISTINA -- A helicopter of the EU mission in Kosovo crashed at Pristina airport on Tuesday, leaving several people injured, a NATO spokesperson has told Reuters.
"An EULEX helicopter crashed at Pristina airport... There are some injuries and we are checking," he said.

Nine injured in Kosovo collective center fire
PRISTINA -- Nine persons have been injured in a fire that broke out in one unit of the Center for Collective Accommodation in Malisevo in Kosovo.
Reports said on Tuesday that a more serious tragedy was averted thanks to the swift response of firefighters and the police.
