Lebanese people in Saudi Arabia

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri accepted a visit from Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon Çağatay Erciyes on Nov. 26.

The office of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri said on Nov. 18 he has arrived in Paris with his wife from Saudi Arabia without mentioning two of his children.

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, who is in Saudi Arabia, will return to his home country in the coming days. This is what he himself said in an interview with a Saudi TV channel.

His escape became the occasion for a scandal between Beirut and Riyadh. Hariri worries about his safety in the country because of the open criticism of the Hezbollah group and Iran.

French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Arabia Mohammad bil Sulman have discussed recent events in the Middle East during a surprise visit of Macron in Riyadh, the France press reported.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait on Nov. 9 urged their citizens to leave Lebanon immediately, days after Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri announced his resignation while visiting Riyadh.
