Greek police arrest five Croatians allegedly involved in deadly soccer violence
Police in Greece have arrested five Croatian nationals allegedly involved in deadly soccer fan violence, apprehending them as they attempted to flee the country.
The arrests were announced Wednesday, a day after a 29-year-old Greek fan was stabbed to death outside AEK Athens' stadium, prompting the cancellation of a Champions League qualifier against Dinamo Zagreb.
Athens traffic closures, transport stopages on May 1
Due to the May 1 union rallies, large parts of central Athens city center will be closed to traffic Monday and public transport services will be limited.
All three Metro lines and tram services will be shut down all day, as employees stage a 24-hour stoppage.
