Four dead, two injured in car, train collision in Turkey's east
At least four young men were killed and two others seriously injured in a collision of a car and freight train on a railway crossing in Turkey's eastern Mu? province late Aug. 1, authorities said.
According to police officials, there were six passengers in the car, which collided with a freight train when it approached a railway crossing in Hasköy district's town of Düzk??la.
Velingrad- Pazardzhik Inter-City Road Closed after Landslide
Traffick is temporarily restricted along the 19 kilometer road connecting Bulgaria's Velingrad and Pazardzhik.
The section of the road near the railway crossing at the village of Varvara has been closed due to a small landslide, as announced by the State Agency Road Infrastructure.
Passenger Train Hits Car in Southwestern Bulgaria
A passenger train running in the direction Kulata-Dupnitsa has hit a car at a railroad crossing near the village of Oshtava in southwestern Bulgarian Kresna municipality, Monday.
No victims or injured were reported as a result of the accident. The crossing is marked with signs and an audible warning device which was switched on minutes before the accident, according to witnesses.
