Belgrade Waterfront lex specialis passes in parliament

BELGRADE -- The Serbian parliament has adopted a special law (lex specialis) for the Belgrade Waterfront project.

BELGRADE - Opposition MPs criticized on Tuesday the lex specialis on Belgrade Waterfront, qualifying it as unconstitutional and pandering to private interests.

Balsa Bozovic of the Democratic Party said that in an effort to present someone's private interest as public, the government is shifting the responsibility onto the parliament.
